Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner Review

Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner
Price-$3.99
Size- 16 ounces

Scent: Peppermint

This conditioner is creamy, not too thick and as a peppermint lover I think it smells great. It had good slip and left my hair soft and moisturized. I thought it really performed admirably but I read so many rave review previously I was kind of disappointed. Compared to my beloved VO5, I thought it was slightly more moisturizing with a little more slip.

I conclude that if you have $4 to spend on conditioner this is fine. I would opt to add a couple tablespoons of olive or coconut oil to VO5 for a similar result for $0.99.

I give it four out of five Knaps.

I left with:

3 squares of LUSH Caca Rouge henna
3 oz. bottle LUSH Coolaulin shampoo

EnKore uses the same products we do!

I was cruising around YouTube this morning and I saw a new video up from EnKore about his hair regime. EnKore is really known on YouTube for all his makeup tutorials so I was surprised to see him posting about his hair. He says: Many people ask me at beauty shows what I do to my hair to look healthy. I personally think its dry looking, but its been that way since I can remember. So, I thought I'd share my haircare regimen.

WELL - was I SUPER surprised when I saw him hold up ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Lotion! Then I found myself thinking, "Am I ignorant? I didn't think anyone else used this stuff except for us." He also goes on to show his Morrocan Oil & Chi Silk Infusion!

Go EnKore!

Today's Hair(Friday)-Picure Day Flat twists

Style: Flat Twists with two strand twist in back

Approximate time to complete: 1 hour 30 mins

Products Used: Eco Styler Gel, Lil Butter Butter, Burdock Root Butter Cream

Tools Used: Rat-tail comb (for parting flat twists), clips (to hold sections), my hands :)

Reason for style:
Time to let the puff go, picture day, I can make it last 2 weeks

Lessons Learned:
I had been skipping the BRBC after washing my hair and I could really tell the difference. I'm twisting faster and faster, if only I could braid. :/
