I found this cartoon and I failed to see the humor. It was among a collection of cartoons about bad hair days. This was the only one featuring a woman of color and the only one comparing human hair to an animal. Am I being sensitive?

Why would you assume that her hair is weave? I assumed she had abundant locs. I took offense at the thought that locs would be likened to and animal.
